some form of Simic lands deck has been a pet project of mine for quite sometime. with the addition of Scapeshift I think its finally a possibility.

this deck is all about cheating lands out as fast as possible. with the help of cards like Llanowar Scout, Wayward Swordtooth, spring / mind and Hour of Promise we are able to do this quite easily.

since we are able to play a plethora of lands we are capable of pulling off a number of excellent plays that are normally reserved for long drawn out games. turn 4 Carnage Tyrant always feels good 10/10 Walking Ballista on turn 7 feels even better.

perhaps the best payoff for having too many lands is Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar. and this is where our Scapeshift effectively doubling Multani's power and toughness. but scapeshift allows us to do so much more with the help of Dunes of the Dead and Tatyova, Benthic Druid. scapeshifting dunes of the dead loads us up with zombies and when we reset with scapeshift, Tatyova lets us refill our hand and life totals. Ramunap Excavator makes sure that we can keep the lands coming even after a scapeshift.

our sideboard is really set up with defensive spells and removal as we do lack in that department in the main deck.
