Attempting to make a mono blue devotion deck that works. At the moment the ideal game plan is to play Grand Architect followed by Master of Waves. Then tap most or all creatures by using Grand Architect's ability to generate lots of colourless mana to cast a massive Walking Ballista. Mana from Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx with a lot of devotion can also help to cast a big ballista or even fuel it when it is on the board.
All help is much appreciated.
Edit 1: Smuggler's Copter over vedalken shackles is a possible option to speed up the early game and filter out the draw.
Edit 2: Replace 1x Negate with 1x Kira, Great Glass-Spinner for the more interactive matchups. She is a creature so she would add devotion to the board and can be tapped by architect AND is a spirit so would buff the Mausoleum Wanderer for a turn.
Edit 3: Replaced 1x Walking Ballista with 1x Wurmcoil Engine in the mainboard. This just gives the deck more 'ummf' when in a creature based matchup. Sometimes Walking Ballista just does't give enough power or presence on the board so this is where this bad boi comes in. Lifegain is also very significant against any burn matchup as you have the potential to slam Wurmcoil Engine down on turn 3. Overall just a very solid card.
Moving 2x Vedalken Shackles from maybeboard to sideboard. It has proven quite useful against matchups where the creatures are important for the opponent such as devoted company or other devotion decks. It does suffer against artefact removal however i doubt that opponent will sideboard it in after seeing only ballistas and maybe some copters game 1 since the deck functions just fine after disruption.

=====Counterspells dont add devotion and do not have synergy with the Grand Architect or any other card in the deck. There are some ways to already deal with problematic cards in sideboard and some more are being added in in this edit.
+++ 1x Chalice of the Void - Modern has so many decks running tons of 1 and 2 drops that it would be criminal to not include this at least as a 1 of. Also this deck has a wide curve so blocking a certain cmc from being played for us isnt too bad. Synergy with Grand Architect as he can make the X numbers be larger easier.
+++ 1x Spellskite - Improves boggles, burn, control and infect matchups. Grand Architect ability allows us to play him by tapping a creature.
+++ 1x Vendilion Clique - A way to remove threats we have no answer for, gives us 2 devotion, can be used as a surprise blocker, lets us see the opponents hand. Also, a less known trick is to use clique to filter your own draw as it can target yourself too!
