This deck utilized the synergy of the flashback mechanic using Unburial Rites as it's primary win condition. With strong hand denial in Thoughtseize and Liliana of the Veil you can take card advantage early. Remand offers counter spell support but most of your control aspect comes from your spot removal and field control of Supreme Verdict, Go for the Throat, and Detention Sphere. The one of Sphinx's Revelation allows you to reload your hand and gain a little life if you are hemorrhaging.

All in all i think this is at least a solid skeleton for a fairly competitive modern Esper deck. I'm still a bit up in the air as for the reanimation target. Stormtide Leviathan is always solid but given the modern card pool i feel there may be better options out there.
