"Corpsejack Menace? Why the heck are you playing Corpsejack Menace? You should swap him out with Desecration Demon, he's in you're colors and so much better."

I've had people spout crap like this at me so much I can barely express how much I'm tired of it. You know what? There's a billion things in standard now that add +1/+1 counters. Menace adds nearly double value to all of those cards. That's where the idea for this deck came from - I want to take advantage of the huge +1/+1 trend that WotC are pushing into standard right now.

Superstars of this deck:

Corpsejack Menace - This guy is a beast. People have often told me to take him out, but they don't realize his potential. He adds tons of value to just about every creature I'm going to play after him, and allows me to throw out game-ending amounts of damage really fast. He combos well with a ton of stuff in the deck, too.

Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch - Coming out as a 4/4 with haste is great, and her first strike makes her harder to defend against. She provides some nice utility as well as is part of the 3-piece super-combo of this deck.

Kalonian Hydra - The game-winner. This guy is scary enough alone, but with the other cards that he combos with in this deck, he is just insane. Often times when I swing with him and reveal just how much damage is coming at my enemy, the response is a resounding, "ARE YOU F***ING KIDDING ME?!" Combos so insanely well with the above two that it is almost beyond words.

The Battle Plan

What this deck does is work its way up to 4-5 mana, killing annoying things that appear in the meantime, and then it starts dropping threats turn after turn.

Any combination of the "Superstar 3" listed above works out as a really nice combo.

Corpsejack Menace + Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch = 4/4 and a 5/5 first strike with haste, and now anything with +1/+1's on it comes out with haste and twice as many counters.

Corpsejack Menace + Kalonian Hydra = Hydra comes out as an 8/8 and when it swings it becomes a 24/24. This often means game over.

Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch + Kalonian Hydra = On the same turn that the hydra comes out, he can swing. An 8/8 with trample and haste is often enough to turn an entire game around.

and finally...

Corpsejack Menace + Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch + Kalonian Hydra = Doom. Despair. Pain. If you go in that order then by turn 5 you can swing with a 4/4, a 9/9 with first strike, and a 24/24 with trample.

Updates Add

I decided to rebuild this deck with a few new cards that I feel fit well after having piloted it for a while.
