Prophet of Kruphix
takes over games!
Example:T1 Mystic. t2 Courser. T3 Bident of Thassa.T4 Play Prophet. Pass turn.
T4b: Untap all creatures and lands on their turn. Force them to attack, blocking favorably, Flash in a surprise blocker or counter their doom blade or prevent a planeswalker from landing, etc.
T5: Attack with everybody, draw cards for everybody (mystic, courser, etc), cast something good.T5b: like T4b but even better.
One turn after playing the prophet we gained 3 cards board advantage and a 3 card hand advantage on top of that.
Meta GameThis deck is being designed to play my FNM meta which includes: UW control, Jund monsters, RW burn, black aggro, black devotion, GWx mid range, and oddball decks (e.g. Mine).
Vs aggro decks we block and remove until we reach 5 mana. Then we take over, killing their stuff. Nothing more expensive than 5 is played here.
Vs. midrange we also play the control role. elf, caryatid, and then watch for things to counter until we can play out our best cards. Once Prophet, Bident, Sphinx, Cyclonic Rift or Setessan Tactics comes into effect, we start gaining ground and taking over the game. Kiora comes in to minimize damage.
Vs. control (UW) we are the aggressor. Play cautiously and use spells for key cards.
Vs. black devotion, Setessan Tactics trumps Packrat. Eg if 3 rats are out, Sphinx or Ooze or Boon Satyr on something kills one, then Courser kills one, then caryatid one. Curse of the Swine comes in to tame their creatures.
Vs. burn, counter spells, ooze, courser and creatures to attack are my hope. Not successful yet.

Prophet of Kruphix
- gives mana to control games
Setessan Tactics 4 mana can often kill 3 aggro creatures.
Sylvan Caryatid can kill an elf with the above card! And makes Golgari Charm possible to survive Verdict.
Negate anything not a creature is subject to rejection.
Boon Satyr
- Boom! Satyr! You thought it was safe to attack? Nope! But really it's job is to give me an opening to use counter spells before the prophet arrives. And if nothing needed countering, I still get my play.
