This deck is essentially this deck ( http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/grixis-artifact-aggro-4/ ), but with the added value of Walking Ballista and Metallic Mimic.

Basically, the sweetest thing here that doesn't exist in the cheaper version is the fact that Walking Ballista can be pulled back by any creature dying if Scrap Trawler is up. Also, turn 2 Metallic Mimic naming constructs can put a Walking Ballista onto the battlefield for zero mana on the same turn, but as a 1/1. Seems decent enough.

Other than that, the list remains nearly the same. Without Tezzeret's Touch, I ditched a Spirebluff for a Swamp. Traded the Touch's for Collective Brutality, which is a personal favorite card of mine. It does everything you want it to do. You eat their removal, you kill their creatures, you can gain and drain if you need it, and it helps feed Scrap Trawler, if the yard is lacking creatures.

I think this list is far stronger, mostly due to the Construct Tribal going on. Much like Zombies, this deck has multiple lords. Zombies gets 3, we get two. Works for me.
