Pretty much an aggro human tribal deck with a few oddballs thrown into the mix to pressure your opponent. The strategy for the most part is as simple as any other creature-heavy aggro deck; cast as many creatures as possible, ideally starting off with Champion of the Parish to place +1/+1 counters on it early on in the game, and overwhelm your opponents with your army of humans, several other creatures and buffs before your opponent can enough to do anything about it.
Gryff's Boon, an oddball choice for this kind of deck, is a handy enchantment whenever I need some fast and cheap evasion for the hard hitters. The fact that you can attach it on a 2/1 creature on turn 2 is great, especially if you can get it on something like Champion of the Parish. It also synergises well with the two different Gideon Planeswalkers, since you can just 'reanimate' it back to them after they stop being a creature.
Selfless Spirit Is a card that I set as mainboard, simply because it can be used in more than one use on some situations. I mainly use it as a flyer though. Pairs excellently with a sideboard card Wrath of God.
Lingering Souls is for grindier games when your other creatures simply can't do the job. Getting two more 1/1 fliers for 2 is certainly something I fancy, not to mention with the other flying stuff I have set in this deck. It's the only reason I bothered to put in dual lands.
Brimaz, King of Oreskos, although not a human creature, is a handy 'late gamer' that can build a bit of pressure with 1/1 tokens, which fits into the strategy somewhat. He certainly gets more troublesome if I manage to get non-human +1/+1 buffs. Although I'm wondering if should replace a Lingering Souls with another Brimaz or not.
More coming soon.
I haven't fully finished netdecking this deck yet, so expect a couple of changes.
Any help on making this deck is appreciated, especially on the sideboard.
