This is an experimental deck that is probably best suited for casual play.
The focus here is to get Scythe of the Wretched attached to a deathtouch creature early in the game and take control of an opponents creatures. This doesnt work well against decks that go wide with tokens, but is pretty fun against deck that are aggressive or have large creatures.
Heres the pretty cool combo -
Scythe of the Wretched
equipped for one red mana with
Magnetic Theft
(which can also steal your opponents equipments) onto a creature with Deathtouch. If used on Glissa, the Traitor
she has First strike also and can kill any opposing creatures without taking damage. If you equip it to another creature without first strike, you can enchant that creature with Relexes for one mana and it works the same. Add Rancor for a special effect as well. (Only 1 damage is needed to kill an opposing creature when deathtouch is involved, so the full remaining amount of damage is then carried over to the opponent or other blocking creatures!)
This combo will kill blocking creatures or blocked creatures and then give you control of the creature. Basically taking over the enemies armies. It is slower to develop than most competitive matchups, so I dont recommend this to anybody looking to compete in more serious game environments. This is however a remarkably fun deck to use in planar chase games.
