i haven't played modern for about a year but i heard grixis deaths shadow was the 'bees knees' :).

as such i made a grindy midgame list centered around deaths shadow. recur jaces, snapcasters, smallpox, and deaths shadow multiple times throughout the game for stupidly slow and grindy games. i haven't bothered to look at the netdecks but i'd imagine that they're probably faster and better xd

the sideboard sorta makes the list even grindier. additional lilianas, sweepers, lingering souls, and more snapcaster mages makes for a thoroughly unpleasant game two
