8 Whack's biggest drawback is burning out and scooping to main-deck life gain decks and has trouble with cards like Lingering Souls if you don't have your Legion Loyalist on the battlefield. So adding black for Illness in the Ranks handles most token generators, and with Morsel Theft we can out-draw and out-life other aggro/lifegain decks but we have to run Rogues so Bitterblossom helps with that as well as adding Flying and virtual card advantage.

• 8 Whack affects all creatures you control, not just your Goblins so Bitterblossom is extra good here.
• Goblin Piledriver is extra bad here with less 1cmc Goblins than traditional 8-Whack but too good a card to not have in. The only non-synergy is with Bitterblossom and Morsel Theft.
• Very fun deck with a lot more interaction with unfair decks than running mono-red but you definitely give up explosiveness.
