Breakin' some lands in SOI.
I think that this deck is well positioned against the current metagame, being good against G/W Tokens, various control builds, Westvale Abbey
decks, Secure the Wastes decks and the Pyromancer's Goggles decks.
I am looking for help with the sideboard and tips on how to sideboard well.
FNM REPORT
Match 1 vs Bant CoCo
2 - 1
In the first game my opponent beat me down with
Sylvan Advocate
s until I was forced to walk two Kozilek's Returns into a Dromoka's Command. The other games were won pretty easily after he ran out of removal in the second game, and I beat him down with a Chandra, Flamecaller in the third game.
Match 2 vs Golgari Delirium
2 - 0
He ran out of removal too quickly, and I managed to grind out both games with Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, which he had no way to remove.
Match 3 vs Mono-White Humans
2 - 1
I lost the first game to a quick and aggressive draw, but I sideboarded in Jaddi Offshoot and Elvish Visionary after that, and gained enough life to hold onto the game. I then managed to Kozilek's Return for about six creatures, and finished it off with an Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger.
Match 4 vs G/B Aristocrats
2 - 0
I won the first game after I managed to sweep away 2 Zulaport Cutthroats with a Kozilek's Return, and the game proceeded into a top deck war. However, right after he topdecked a Collected Company into a
Nantuko Husk
and a Catacomb Sifter, I topdecked an Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, and he scooped. In the second game I got stuck on seven lands, but kept drawing Dragonlord Atarkas, World Breakers and Chandra, Flamecallers and finished off the game.
