Overall looks good, agree with ecpn. You've got some cards that are just fillers and not win cons. Drop those out for more synergy and you've got yourself a golden deck.

Conduit of Ruin would be good in this.

True, I was thinking more for the cost reduction then the fetch. Also, It That Betrays could be good, considering you have Ulamog and Kozilek

@ KumaLKS There was a point where I had every huge beater in the deck, what it comes down to is you're typically casting Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, Artisan of Kozilek or Kozilek, Butcher of Truth for the on cast effects and not to use as beaters. Don't get me wrong, the cards are great to destroy a board state, however, when you're dropping these bombs - you're most likely already in a win condition.

These are especially nice when you have 11+ counters on Animar, Soul of Elements and Cloudstone Curio out.

Craterhoof Behemoth out for Somberwald Sage - Ramp department felt much more important, fits into the other win con better.

Something about Craterhoof Behemoth just didn't feel right. Great card, just hasn't been a game changer. In many games it's been available as an alternative win con but definitely felt like a tier 3 win con, especially when other options were present at the same time.

Nice to see another Animar player (talking to themselves). I have a few suggestions.

The main cards I'm seeing that stand out here are cards that either are non-creatures and have better options (i.e. no SwanSong but running Counterflux), or require you to pass your turn to get value like Consecrated Sphinx and Growing Rites of Itlimoc  Flip. I've ran both of these cards also but have found more value in cards that let me continue those 30 minute game-ending turns.

I know some of these aren't budget options, but totally worth it. Look into running Equilibrium, it's a more versatile Cloudstone Curio here because it can bounce yours or your opponents stuff. Also Food Chain is nuts here, it turns simple bounce creatures or tapped mana dorks etc into non-stop has. I see Earthcraft is already on your maybeboard but I can't stress enough how gross it is. Also, rather than running Growing Rites, try Crop Rotation for Gaea's Cradle #2.

Anyways, here's a link to my list. I focus more on aggro but the above cards support your combo route. Feel free to check out my list for ideas.

Animar, Angry Hemorrhoid

Also, Stunt Double and/or Dack's Duplicate needs to replace your Clone.

Also, Morph creatures combo with Animar and Cloustone Curio since the morph cost is reduced. Consider Ainok Survivalist, Den Protector, or Stratus Dancer to go along with Rattleclaw Mystic. Also, Beastcaller Savant works in this loop.

Stunt Double is replacing Clone 100%

Considering Selvala, Heart of the Wilds , Swan Song, Crop Rotation, Equilibrium

Earthcraft - had this in and honestly, I found myself always screwed. With the limited basic lands in the deck - it rarely worked out in my favor.

Fair enough on Earthcraft. I run all 9 fetches I can which, does make it more reliable.

Several of your combos in your combo section work a lot more ways than you've listed. i.e.

Large Animar, Soul of Elements or enough Mana + Cloudstone Curio + Oblivion Sower + Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre or Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger or Void Winnower = Table Win, Full Mill on each opponent.

The Eldrazi, other than Sower of course, can be replaced with Rattleclaw Mystic, Beastcaller Savant, or Cloud of Faeries and it's ilk, requiring a lot less counters/mana to get this going.

toffmcsoft Really like the deck and +1 for one of the sweetest commanders!

I am building my own Animar brew, but I want to keep it at 60-70% of power, so I've only included the Kiki-Exarch combo as a back up plan. It would be really helpful if you could take a look at my list and make any consistency recommendations!

In any case, happy brewing!
