I started with a mono green FNM deck based around the strengths of Strangleroot Geist, Predator Ooze, and Rancor. The deck itself wasn't quite fast enough, and died to control and late game bombs. Adding some black helps considerably.

Some fun interactions:The Ooze is a great target for Garruk if you need to flip him. Rancor + Thrill-Kill makes for a 4/3 deathtouch trampler. Ulvenwald is amazing with ooze (who grows on kills) and Thrill-Kill (deathtouch + fight).
Ooze and any undying creature to double block. Ooze still gets his token. The undying creature gets comes back bigger.
