Wizards have given us a new play style! Pioneers is from Return to Ravnica Forward. Excluding special sets in between. As well as banning fetch lands of all types.

This deck revolves around Soulflayer . Soulflayer allows you to exile up to four cards from your graveyard for delve. Doing so will give Soulflayer the abilities of each of those cards. This allows Soulflayer to obtain : Flying, First strike, Double Strike, Deathtouch, Haste, Hexproof, Indestructible, Lifelink, Reach, Trample, Vigilance, Swampwalk, etc.

In order to give us Soulflayer all these wonderful rage inducing abilities we have to have cards that have them. That gives us these wonderful pieces of cardboard.

• Hazoret the Fervent (Indestructible, haste)
• Lotleth Troll (Trample)
• Nightveil Predator (Flying, deathtouch, hexproof)
• Samut, Voice of Dissent (Double strike, vigilance, haste)

We also need to have a way of getting these sacrificial lambs to the graveyard in order for Soulflayer to "adopt" their traits. That gives us these wonderful pieces of cardboard.

Deathrite Shaman has been removed because let's just assume he will be banned because he already is in Modern and Legacy. He has been swapped out for four Sylvan Caryatid as a hope to save some money and not use Mana Confluence now that they have doubled in price.
