First off, thank you for taking the time to check out my list.

This is my take on Enchantments in Modern. The idea of the deck is that you keep putting out enchantments such as Runed Halo and Nevermore to lock out your opponents. With Ghostly Prison and Sphere of Safety it becomes nearly impossible for your opponent to attack you, eventually making attacking at all inconceivable. Wall of Omens and Spellskite slow down early creatures, with Spellskite also being able to protect your enchantments against some spells. Path to Exile and Supreme Verdict work wonders at destroying creature-based assaults. Detention Sphere takes out problematic permanents such as planeswalkers and Leyline of Sanctity stops you from being targeted. You win via Sigil of the Empty Throne and Luminarch Ascension making 4/4 flying angels or one of your Celestial Colonnades rides you to victory. Mistveil Plains might not be needed but serves as an extra backup victory condition. Sphinx's Revelation prevents you from running out of cards and life. Spreading Seas is a very versatile card and can be of good use against manlands, Tron and Eldrazi.

The sideboard is mostly just more hate. It also gives us a few opportunities to fill out our deck against fair decks where we don't want the anti-combo hate.

In my opinion Runed Halo is one of the most underrated cards in Modern. Accompanied by Nevermore out of the SB all the combo decks out there that require a key card to be cast to win are forced to play fair.
