This is a casual play, legacy deck with a Grixis Control theme. It is meant for general play and to do well versus a wide variety of strategies.

The primary element is the “Painful Quandry” enchantment to slow down oponents. The “discard or loose life” theme carries through to several other cards in the deck as well. Late game usually ends with a “Profane Command” (or similar direct hit for life), token mob, or a large swing from a copied monster to finish off an opponents dwindling life.

The defense centers around low-to-mid-cost reactive strategy with the ability to copy your oponent’s (or your own) creatures, tap or destroy your opponents creatures, and a couple “Counterspells” and “Phyrexian Metamorphs” (doing double duty as potential attackers) to help against pesky enchantments and artifacts.

Looking for recommendations to speed up play to better handle fast-paced agro decks.
