A mighty, MIGHTY deck tweak —July 26, 2023
Giving this deck a significant overhaul to see if I can smooth this brew out a little. I'm running a bunch of enchantments here so I'm going to add a few options to take advantage of that - mainly a wee enchantress suite for additional card draw options. I'm also swapping out a few win-more cards in favour of theme, synergy & general efficiency.
In:
Argothian Enchantress - more card draw
Bala Ged Sanctuary
Flip - early game land or a mid/late game recursion option
Carpet of Flowers - there's a chance there's an island in play in most 4 player FFA matches, probably a few - worst case this acts as a cantrip with enchantress effects, best case this gives me a bunch of mana too
Dawn of a New Age - more card draw
Farewell - another flexible wipe option
Galadhrim Ambush - another Arachnogenesis effect, very cool
Minas Tirith - another card draw option utility land
Replenish - the mightiest of the enchantment recursion spells
Sanctum Weaver - a relevant enchantress mana dork
Serra's SanctumGC - big mana potential in here
Setessan Champion - more card draw
Sylvan Library - more card draw
Sythis, Harvest's Hand - more card draw
Yavimaya Hollow - handy utility land in a pinch
Out:
Avacyn, Angel of Hope - win-more and not necessarily on theme or needed
Cultivate - a classic ramp card, but I'm making way for slightly cheaper and more thematic ramp
Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite - certainly a decent hoser card, but also just an expensive, glorified anthem
1x Forest - making room for a mega land
Gavony Township - this is just a pretty trash and unneeded utility land
Kodama's Reach - a classic ramp card, but I'm making way for slightly cheaper and more thematic ramp
Natural OrderGC - very few worthy creatures to choose from in here + I'm still running Worldly TutorGC + Eladamri's Call for when it's time to summon Craterwin
Pir's Whim - Gaea's CradleGC tutor is cool, but I think my ramp suite is good enough without this
2x Plains - making room for mega lands
Primal Vigor - I'm running enough token/counter doubling effects already + I don't want to be potentially helping my opponents
Rite of Harmony - making room for superior, repeatable draw effects
Sterling Grove - decent enchantment protection + tutor, but also just not super needed here
Tooth and Nail - expensive mega tutor, but I'm removing some of the bigger win-more-ish creature targets anyway
Forceofnature1 says... #1
What a fun deck! I am looking to build this for my wife as a starter deck. Green/white tokens seems like an easy way for her to get ridiculous.
