Have you thought about adding Banishing Knack and removing Sigil of Sleep ? It doesn't need Hermetic Study to work with crab, is on instant speed and may remove enchantments and artifacts.

Dreamer1997 - a few reasons for the use of Pili-Pala
It's a flyer, so that's a plus in helping block creatures.
It can untap itself. this is essential for the use of Hermetic Study and Viridian Longbow

Can you tell how work the combo exactly? Have some infinite combo or insta win?

have you ever considered splashing red? I know there are tons of other similar effects in that color as well for pauper.
those fit best in your current deck since you run untapping creatures and tapping enchantments (not vice versa). But of course you would now have access to Lightning Bolt and Swiftwater Cliffs
Honestly though, I feel having tapping creatures with untap abilities is more effective since you can at least deal damage without both cards together. It makes the deck more consistent.
Also, if you ever wanted to make a quick change to the deck to play casual, you could add Basilisk Collar for shits and giggles with your friends.

First off I love this deck. Thank you for making it! It's really unique on the pauper set.
However; I've been playing it on MTGO but not having much success. I believe this is because I don't understand how it's supposed to be played, therefore; I have a few questions.
Kraken Hatchling ; it's purpose is just to block and possibly get the Hermetic Study , Viridian Longbow or Sigil of Sleep correct? I can't help but wondering why not swap that out for two more of the Pili-Pala which also untap? I mean they're not as good at blocking but is that the only reason they're in the deck?
Oona's Gatewarden is just there to do 1 damage like the Kraken Hatchling right? I mean since it only deals one damage with the bow it doesn't really need flying since it doesn't attack or block (unless you want to sac it for time). I guess I'm wondering why not swap them for another Viridian Longbow or Think Twice ? The reason I say this is because applying the Viridian Longbow or Hermetic Study turns the possible de-buff of -2 to only -1, which seems counterproductive.
Zealous Guardian , I'm assuming he's in there because you have a Counterspell in your hand and you're waiting to see if you need to use it. If you don't cast it then you use Flash and enchant then pwn the enemy, is this correct?
Lastly, isn't there a card that can give the ability to untap a creature? I found one that does this if you cast a blue spell, Merrow Levitator . Maybe a couple of these in there instead of two Zealous Guardian ?
Thanks in advance.

How about Ophidian Eye , since Curiosity is uncommon? Freed from the Real lets you untap the enchanted creature, so it could go great with this deck too.

Thanks for the comments!
Before I answer your questions, let me try to explain briefly my idea behind the deck. The main wincon in here is of course hermetic crab or hermetic pili-pala, with or without sigil. The rest is there to provide control, and I cannot guarantee my picks are the best, I've only been able to test it a few times (with success, though).
Ok, now one by one:
Kraken Hatchling : you're half correct on this, it's sole purpose is to block. There aren't too many high-powered creatures in pauper, so this should be able to fend off most direct attacks. Rather than expending a Hermetic Study AND Sigil of Sleep on it with limited effect, I tend to use it to buy time until I get a crab or pili-pala. As for Pili-Pala , I've only included 2 since it has a much weaker body and is more easily subject to removal.
Oona's Gatewarden : this used to be only in sideboard against decks with flyers, but it proved much more effective than whatever it was I put in before. Even if it doesn't trade, 2 -1/-1 counters should be good enough to negate the threat. I wouldn't waste a hermetic study on it, since it offers the opponent a 2-for-1, though a Viridian Longbow attached would provide a good end step option without sacrificing card advantage.
Zealous Guardian : again, you're right on this, it's only in for its flash. However, since I have the gatewarden, I've been toying with the idea of replacing it with Spellstutter Sprite . Haven't gotten round to it though, maybe you could give it a shot if you get the chance.
I've tried to limit my deck to cards with 3cmc or less, since I need all the spare mana I can get. Merrow Levitator is slightly too expensive for my liking, though you're certainly free to try it and let me know how it works. As for an untapper, I've also considered Silkbind Faerie , since it's basically the same as the crab but able to tap as well for 1 additional mana. goes well with Spellstutter Sprite too.
Like I said, I've only tested this a few times, so if you find something that works better, I'm all ears.
Thanks again for the support!

Thanks for the suggestions! Here's my view though:
Ophidian Eye is most effective when my combo pieces are all out, by which time my need for card drawing is lower than before. It's a nice bonus to have, but at the cost of leaving out something else just as useful, if not more. What would you suggest taking out for it?
Freed from the Real could give any of my creatures untap, though realistically I'd only use it on Kraken Hatchling to minimize the opportunity for a 3-for-1 (including Hermetic Study ), in which case I wouldn't, since the hatchling is only a blocker. And at 3cmc, it seems a bit pricey for something the crab inherently has.

edit to point 1 earlier: what I meant to say was not too many high powered creatures in pauper with low cmc, which is what the hatchling is supposed to deal with. mid game, i should be bouncing them anyway (or simply killing them).

My buddies and I made a little modo-pauper league of our own and I have created a version of this. so far I am 2-0! TYVM
few points:
1. I have added 2 Neurok Stealthsuit
but I don't know how effective those are yet.
2. Sideboarded 4x Unsummon
to deal with the infect decks
3. I was under a stricter budget so I did not acquire Counterspell
but some cheaper counters which work fine.
4. Oona's Gatewarden
is just brilliant! given wither works on any type of damage. also help vs infect
5. I have 4x Silkbind Faerie
instead of Zealous Guardian
, they really help vs those Ulamog's Crusher
if you don't end up drawing a Sigil of Sleep

Thanks! Glad to see you're winning and having fun with this :)
about your points:
actually i love the stealthsuit, though ideally you'd only need to protect one untapper so shielding plax should be good enough. still, i love it. do let me know if it's good.
i never got round to building a sideboard, i'll keep that in mind.
counterspell rox lol :P
yea i love it too! :D
i like silkbind faerie too, i had my playset in another deck so i didn't use it here, but i took that apart so maybe i'll switch mine too.
very useful comments, thanks again!

Also, why don't you try out Trinket Mage ? I know that's what I'm using in one of my paper Pauper decks that is quite similar to this one. I know that Trinket Mage was released as a common in Fifth Dawn, but I don't play online, so I'm not sure if it would be legal in Pauper. It's a great way to ensure that you get out Viridian Longbow .

Fog Bank , Curiosity , Brainstorm , and Opposition could all help you out? I play a similar budget deck:http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/crab-control-comments/

the format is pauper so only Brainstorm is legal, and I think Think Twice with its flashback gives me more options. I could stick it in for something else, though I don't know what to take out.
