My very first Constructed tournament deck revolved around Seismic Assault. The original deck exploited Land Tax and Zuran Orb to try and throw lands at my opponent's face. It was incredibly rickety: it was creatureless and couldn't get anything into play fast enough. Needless to say, I didn't win the tournament; honestly, I was pleased to win a non-zero number of matches. It's been almost half a lifetime since, but I still have my Seismics stored away, and I'd like to use them again.

This is a budget Life from the Loam / Seismic Assault deck. A lot of the deck lists use expensive cards, and I want to see how much I can slim it down. As such, I have an emphasis on the Retrace spells. That said, I still want to see if I can revise the mana base a bit to avoid the slow lands.
