Sideboard

It is clear that Tortured Existence needs something other than a mono black shell to work, but any one other color feels underwhelming to me. So this is my attempt at the best cards in red and green for this deck. Everything revolves around getting the engine online, Tortured Existence. Once that is out you have access to anything you could need from the graveyard, including an insane madness value engine with Grave Scrabbler , and a lot of life to be gained with Golgari Brownscale by repeatedly discarding it to the namesake enchantment to return another. The win condition is beating down with a single huge threat like Horror of the Broken Lands or eventually overwhelming them with a swarm of value creatures. I think Tortured Existence is criminally underplayed in pauper and just needs to find the correct shell for success.

Edit: Removed red for more consistency in mana and replacing Faithless Looting with Vessel of Nascency . Deck runs smoother now, less color screw now and side board options become better.

04/06/19 - Removed Cuombajj Witches because metagame has moved away from them being important, also evened out the basic lands some since BB is no longer needed by t2. Replaced with Mesmeric Fiend to attack bad matchups from a different angle. Also adding Thoughtpicker Witch to make the fiends more potent and to also help with bad matchups.

04/07/19 - Kraul Foragers becomes Brindle Boar

A new creature from modern Horizons 2 changes this deck and makes it a whole lot better. That card being Kitchen Imp. A flying haste 2/2 for BB that also returns a creature from the graveyard is a really great deal. It's also a superior win condition to the other potential win conditions. Auto 4 of in the deck over 2 Dead Weight, 1 crypt rat, and 1 Grave Scrabbler.
