Legendary Angels

Casual* Angels RW (Boros)

Eldir

For years I've been playing exclusively white creature based decks using only Angels (and angelic-holy-saint stuff for my other cards). As there are some beautiful red Angels around there I decided to try a red-white-angels-only deck. This is my first try. Not very competitive but it works for fun. The overall 'way to go' with this is trying to survive during the initial turns:

--Till 3rd drop the best thing to do is to gain some time by using pacifisms, Segovian Angels, justice strikes and, if lucky, banishing strokes. The idea here is not gain control of the game but strategically neutralize most prominent threats during this stage.

--4th drop is the transition. At this point you can put in play a few interesting Angels and start, hopefully, turning the tide. Also is where you finally can use that juicy day of judgement and divine reckoning. Is not their main purpose but they can be used here if the rival is putting too much pressure.

--5th and forward. Is where the party starts. A lot of powerful Angels are coming and they also have a few sinergies.

Special mentions to:

-- Resolute Archangel. During the opneing stages of the match you are going to take some beating. This beautiful angel is here to counter that annoying situation that happens when you take too much beating before taking control of the game and then lose the match because a single lucky hit is enough to finish you off.

--Seraph sanctuaries. To somehow soften the initial beating. You will gain some life (sometimes a very significant quantity) with almost no drawback. This works beautifully with Angels of Vitality and Seraphs of Dawn on the table.

--Most of times is wiser to let an attacker pass and take the hit rather than sacrifice or even risking to sacrifice one of your loyal angels.
