Orah, Skyclave Hierophant
Legendary Creature — Kor Cleric
Lifelink
Whenever Orah, Skyclave Hierophant or another Cleric you control dies (is put into the graveyard from the battlefield), return target Cleric card with lesser converted mana cost from your graveyard to the battlefield.

Thanks so much for the +1 and thoughtful comment, Barbarian_Sun_Pope!
Yes, I've considered Revival / Revenge. I still might change my mind on it, but since there's only one copy of Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose in the deck, I'm not that keen on adding a spell that combos with him and because he's Legendary, I'm not that keen on adding more copies of him. Also, I rarely include any spells that cost 6 to cast, at least not in decks without some mana ramp. Also, Marauding Blight-Priest does a pretty good job, as most of the lifegain comes from the soul sisters triggering multiple times. And when it comes to the Revival half of the spell, I already have Orah, Skyclave Hierophant to help bring creatures back from the graveyard. And more importantly, I have Tocasia's Welcome, which is a very efficient draw engine that makes graveyard recurrence a lot less important.
But like I said, I might change my mind. I can be pretty stubborn, but I also build a lot of forks of decks to explore different possibilities. This deck itself is a Cleric Tribal fork of my deck Halo, and Welcome!. So I might as some point decide to fork again with a greater focus on recurring creatures. Truth be told, I'm not super happy with the performance I've seen from Orah, in large part because 4 is just a little more than the deck really wants to spend on a spell and also because he just doesn't deliver that much value. Of course, a lot of that also has to do with the fact that with Tocasia's Welcome, his role isn't all that important either.

Ayli, Cleric Tribal (Super Budget)

I have a few suggestions for clerics that may be helpful and have tried to keep them below the $1.00 mark to maintain your spirit of budget. I have tried to pick creatures that have an immediate impact or are not mana sinks so they don't compete with your commander for mana resources.
Taborax, Hope's Demise Cheap, flying, potential to grow and rewards you for sacrificing clerics.
Heliod's Pilgrim + Gift of Immortality Granted Gift is not really cheap but if the budget can handle it I think its worthwhile as it lets you get more uses out of your commander per a turn and is even better in multiplayer games.
Orah, Skyclave Hierophant This guy really is the partner your commander needs and there is no down sides to playing him.
Shadow-Rite Priest This guy is pretty solid, small buff to the tribe but a very useful black creature tutor I suggest grabbing Orah first.
Mikaeus, the Lunarch Solid beater if you have the mana or if you only add a couple of counters you can buff your army.
Moon-Blessed Cleric This is an in tribe tutor for enchantments, hard to beat that.

Athreos - Cleric/Zombie

Both tribes of clerics and zombies excel at reanimation and you may as well play into it, with that in mind consider the following, Bishop of Rebirth, Custodi Soulcaller, Drana, the Last Bloodchief, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, Orah, Skyclave Hierophant, Order of Whiteclay, Whisper, Blood Liturgist and Draugr Necromancer although you would need to add snow lands for that.
Useful in tribe creatures: Custodi Lich, Evangel of Heliod, Taborax, Hope's Demise and Custodi Soulbinders. This is hardly a comprehensive list but just a few ideas.

Clerics

No reason not to add Tymna the Weaver as a commander partner to Ravos, Soultender as it will allow you to control when you want to play her.
Some good in tribe clerics matter cards to consider are Righteous Valkyrie, Taborax, Hope's Demise, Akroma's Devoted, Battletide Alchemist and Orah, Skyclave Hierophant.
Another cleric to look at would be Moon-Blessed Cleric, just for the ability to tutor up Necropotence alone should be worth it.
Also a short overview or primer of the deck would be helpful to better understand how you want the deck to win or particular synergies or combos your aiming for.

Considering you are doing clerics and have a fair bit of life gain, I would highly recommend Righteous Valkyrie.
A very strong creature to consider is also Orah, Skyclave Hierophant. This creature will help you out a bit with recurring low cost clerics when the higher cost ones die. Very useful against sweepers as the triggers will allow you to get back more then one creature sometimes back to the field. This card pairs very well with Pyre of Heroes as another card to think of using.
For the Arena 2022 mode I would highly recommend Soulmender as it will allow you to consistently trigger life gain +1/+1 counter triggers. This pairs exceptionally well with Cleric of Life's Bond as this creature can only gain a counter once each turn, meaning you can activate the Soulmender on an opponents turn to get extra triggers you normally would not get.

And in the line of clerics, I've been enjoying this line of synergy on MTGArena if you'd care to look into it yourself:
Pyre of Heroes Righteous Valkyrie Orah, Skyclave Hierophant Hofri Ghostforge Quintorius, Field Historian
Combine those with any number of value clerics with lower CMC and you've got a nasty brew. I'm currently pushing Diamond Tier 4 with it in Standard.
Whether you're interested in it or not I figured you would enjoy the flavor/synergy. Cheers!

Is that a 2 Chronicles reference I see? Great build as always Balaam! I'm considering building a clerics tribal EDH around Orah, Skyclave Hierophant , and while shadowborn apostles are sweet I'd prefer more variety in EDH.

What are your thoughts on Taborax, Hope's Demise and Orah, Skyclave Hierophant ? Im trying Taborax instead of Dark Confidant because of cleric synergy and the prevalence of Fatal Push in the meta.
