Creature — Horror

Trample

You may sacrifice three black creatures rather than pay Delraich's mana cost.

Legendary Dragon of White

Legendary Creature - Dragon 8/8

Legendary Dragon of White is White.

Flying

You may play Legendary Dragon of White from your Command Zone or Exile, but not from anywhere else.

As an additional cost to cast Legendary Dragon of White, phase out 3 creatures you control that each have a mana value of 8 until Legendary Dragon of White leaves the field. When Legendary Dragon of White leaves the field, put those creatures it its owner's graveyard.

While the creatures phased out as additional cost remain phased out, whenever Legendary Dragon of White deals combat damage to a player and reduces their life total to 0 or less, you win the game.

This is my first time both posting on a forum here and posting a custom card, so the formatting can be a bit awkward, and I apologize in advance.

Since WOTC wants to think of MTG as a system more than a game, I decided to do the same. So, as I was thinking about what joke I'd make if I had a YouTube channel in a April's Fool day, I thought about trying to make a Yu-Gi-Oh card into a MTG card.

Legendary Dragon of White is a XYZ monster, meaning you have to overlay (yes, physically) three creatures with the specified requirements (in this case three level 8 Monsters) in order to summon it from the Extra Deck (the closest thing we have is the Command Zone)

I tried as much as possible to translate as directly as I could one game's mechanics into another. I say as possible because we have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING similar to XYZ summoning (closest thing is Delraich and Demon of Death's Gate, so the wording is definitely gonna be wonky. Also, did anyone know there's no white or colorless Dragon with CMC 8? Kinda weird.

Let me know what you think. I'm never making a deck out of this (or any other custom card I end up making), but I can make a digital card only just to pass time and/or to play one time with friends on Cockatrice (when I finally have a computer again)

Would ouphes be a good fit here? While most creatures from the tribe seem to be hard to pronounce, I think Niall Silvain might be especially comfortable here :)

Have you also considered Ulasht, the Hate Seed, Gnathosaur, Vizzerdrix, Delraich, Xantcha, Sleeper Agent, and Dandan?

Atogatog , while maybe not the most difficult to pronounce card, could also give you all five colors if you ran it as a commander.

Just FYI, there are various Formats in MTG you can play. Standard, Modern, Legacy, Vintage, Casual, etc.

Standard is limited to only newer cards, Modern allows cards going all the way back to 8th Edition (July 28, 2003), and most other formats allow cards from any printing, barring banned ones.

Presumably you're playing casually (correct me if I'm wrong), and you have your deck flagged as Standard at the moment, and it contains a couple of cards that are not legal in Standard (because they're too old).

If you are playing casually, there's loads of good cheap cards you can get your hands on. Hymn to Tourach can be found in the $0.60 range and it's incredibly powerful in casual play.

Also a real quick rules note:

she takes my cards and turns them against me using act of treason....i had my nightmare at 7/7 And she beat me to death with it
If she uses Act of Treason on your Nightmare, while it is under her control it will have power and toughness based on the number of Swamps she controls, not the number you do. So unless she's also running Swamps, that shouldn't be an issue at all.

Other suggestions for low $ black cards include: Unearth, Black Knight, Reassembling Skeleton, Stitch Together, Royal Assassin, Mutilate, Promise of Power, Delraich, Avatar of Woe

None of these are "must have" cards, but they're all inexpensive (<$2 each), and can be incredible in the right deck in casual play.

Ok, I've made some changes with what I had on hand. Here's what I've done so far:

In: Charcoal Diamond, Dauthi Embrace, Sol Ring, Hell's Caretaker, Ascendant Evincar, Distended Mindbender, Abundant Maw, Artisan of Kozilek, and Thornbite Staff.

Out: Soratami Cloud Chariot, Western Paladin, Eastern Paladin, Distorting Lens, Delraich, Wall of Shadows, Infernal Spawn of Evil, Sorceress Queen, and Commander Greven il-Vec.

Now, as I acquire some of the other cards, I'll need to decide what stays and what goes. What should I switch out for Buried Alive at this point? I do have a Jet Medallion, but do I really need it? Hopefully I'll get some play testing done with it this weekend and see how it goes.
