Civilized Scholar
Creature — Human Advisor
: Draw a card, then discard a card. If a creature card is discarded this way, untap this, then transform this.

I think there's too much costume color meddling with your assessment of the superheroes.
Batman lives in service of the city and has a strict rule to obey. There are barely any selfish motivations involved, are there? Maybe I'm not versed enough in comics. I agree with the blue, but black because he operates at night? I'd pitch him blue/white, or maybe esper because of the affinity for tools and gadgets.
Spiderman red/blue because the suit is red and blue? Venom is black because he's black?
Those are art directions, not color wheel philosophies.
You're close with Hulk though, in magic he probably already exists as Civilized Scholar Flip

Last_Laugh the official rules say this:
903.4d The back face of a double-faced card (see rule 711) is included when determining a card’s color identity. This is an exception to rule 711.4a. Example: Civilized Scholar Flip is the front face of a double-faced card with mana cost . Homicidal Brute is the back face of that double-faced card and has a red color indicator. The card’s color identity is blue and red.

Mairsil, the Pretender
. Best win con is
Mirror-Mad Phantasm
,
Dread Return
and
Thassa's Oracle
. Make sure not to include
Demonic Consultation
or
Tainted Pact
if you're staying on lower power, but you can add them if you go cEDH.
Buried Alive , Gamble and Entomb are all really really good with Mairsil as lower-priced tutors.
You get tons of fun synergy, but the best things to have caged are Arcanis the Omnipotent , AEtherling , Staff of Domination , and Lazav, the Multifarious . Include Civilized Scholar Flip and Necrotic Ooze , and you get another way to mill your deck with Scholar + Ooze/Lazav + Golgari Thug / Stinkweed Imp .
You can run infinite mana combos with Gilded Lotus and Quicksilver Elemental and any way to untap like Horseshoe Crab or Cinderhaze Wretch .
There's also a ton of random infinite loops possible with Mairsil, as well as great ways to get tons of value. You are really reliant on your commander, but then again you also only need to cast Mairsil again and you can get back into the game.
Oh, and Tim. Hell's Caretaker 's Legends printing art is awesome.

...I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we can't run Civilized Scholar Flip in this deck. The back side has a red color identity, so it's not legal in our color identity unfortunately.
I'm also building Araumi and having a LOT of fun -- I'll come back and take a closer look at your list in the morning, I'd love if you wanted to take a look at my list in return, see if there's anything that I'm missing...

DankMagicianD It was a bit to slow without haste. I did consider it while I was running Anger and Civilized Scholar Flip.

Ooh, sadly that is an illegal deck, Civilized Scholar Flip is considered an izzet card in terms of color identity, because of the red sticker on the flipped side (Homicidal Brute), and so those 5 consecutive wins aren't allowed.
I'm really sorry about this!
(It's actually the example on the wiki for this at https://mtg.gamepedia.com/Color_identity#:~:text=Example%3A%20Civilized%20Scholar%20is%20the,identity%20is%20blue%20and%20red.)

I was probably exaggerating a little bit, but I do have an unbeaten combo list. 'Course, I've only played about 5 games with it -- so the data's rather biased. But it is, so far, untouchable. I don't know if it's actually $40, but I'll try and upload my EDH decks sometime soon.
It's specifically a list based around Civilized Scholar Flip. The deck can win out of nowhere, and is oftentimes incredibly difficult to interact with 'cos I can go off at instant speed and it's all activated abilities, meaning nobody can FoW me. The scariest thing is an uncracked Tormod's Crypt because that's about the one card that anybody plays that can kill me.
It, additionally, can go off t3-4 on a nut draw, but it has to be absurdly perfect and I don't have quite enough money to add any more consistency.
Anyways, I'll get back to you soon.
Epidilius sorry I haven't uploaded it yet, I hope to have that sometime this or next week. I started gutting it for a Modern list, and I also updated some lands, so it might be a while.

blackie393, there is very little I can do with LED mana in this deck. The only real advantage would be if I have my Nooze combo in hand already and milling myself out doesn't get me there, but that's an extremely niche use for a card slot. And I already have Skirge Familiar, Civilized Scholar Flip, and Magus of the Bazaar as potential discard outlets.
