Ok so I brought my unfinished version of this deck, and bought everything except the Inspiring Vantages because they didn't have them.
First Match: Temur Energy (splash black for The Scarab God)
First game: He went way too fast. Didn't get a burn spell on Servant of the Conduit and he was able to get Bristling Hydra third turn and The Scarab God fourth turn.
Second Game: My starting hand was perfect. Got a Soul-Scar Mage out first turn and he did alot of work by himself. Slammed a Trial of Solidarity to finish him.
Third Game: Pretty much like the first game, but he attacked too aggressively and left himself open for lethal.
Won 2-1
Second Round: Mono-Black Aggro/Eldrazi
First Game: Anything I played would die the second it came out. He was running 4 Fatal Push, 4 Grasp of Darkness and 4 Collective Brutality in the mainboard. He got out some big creatures which I could do nothing about.
Second Game: Ended the same way the first game did. He sided in Flaying Tendrils which kills literally every creature in the deck.
Lost 0-2
Third Round: Faced RB Aggro
First Game: It turns out that this guy was ish-new to Magic, and his deck wasn't too good. I rushed in fast and he couldn't do anything about it.
Second Game: This time he landed a Glorybringer but he forgot to exert it to kill my only attacker. He left himself open for lethal.
Won 2-0
Fourth Round: Faced Mardu Superfriends
First Game: He dropped a Chandra, Torch of Defiance and used her -3 to kill one of my creatures, but by that time it was too late. I dropped double Invigorated Rampage (which I was running at the time) and killed both him and Chandra in the same turn.
Second Game: He almost won this game. He animated a Shambling Vent twice, but the second time i double Magma Sprayed it and got in for a lot of damage. He couldn't do much more after that.
