Urzatron 2.3 (Casual MTG Deck)

A casual Red/Green kitchen table deck built on the cards I have and have acquired without undue expense. The goal isn't to recreate a competitive deck from the web but rather to play with the concept and have fun.

The idea is to bring out a beatstick or two and win with it. Fling and Soul's Fire are there to get damage through if the opponent has a way to block battle damage. Rogue's Passage can help with this as well. Fling has a nice synergy with Scuttling Doom Engine .

Expedition Map , Crop Rotation , Into the Wilds , and Animist's Awakening are there to help me get the mana needed. Fierce Empath and Conduit of Ruin help me get and cast beatsticks. Pyroclasm is there for clearing out the underbrush and slowing down aggro decks.

Fireball is another way to get damage through or to kill something larger if necessary. Steel Hellkite and Ulamog's Crusher have nice abilities, though I'm not really a fan of Annihilator in game enjoyment terms. A lot of the card choices are based on what I have already, especially the 1-ofs and 2-ofs.
