Being reactive never felt so good.

Protection with Gideon of the Trials, mana sinks in Pull from Tomorrow and the new cycle lands, and impactful cycling instants in Cast Out and Censor just might resurrect this archetype. Who needs ya, Reflector Mage??

This build utilizes the spirit synergy that makes Frontier spirits so annoying. Spell Queller stymies the combo and most of Mardu Vehicles' curve. Selfless Spirit and Archangel Avacyn   protect 'em. Mausoleum Wanderer is a little clock that taxes the heck out of removal spells and counterspells.

Definitely open to suggestions! I think it can be a strong contender with the new Gideon and cycling answers. I'm also considering a black splash for Ulamog's Nullifier , possibly Wasteland Strangler , and Dispossess for the sideboard--mostly if decks like Aetherworks Marvel are a problem locally.
