This fringe combo/theme/gimmick deck is probably my favorite of all the Amonkhet decks I've built so far... It's not ever going places though. It won't be tier 1 or competitive I don't think but none-the-less it's my favorite of those I've brewed.

At it's core Cryptolith Rite + Throne of the God-Pharaoh is the combo this deck plays off of. Basically why attack when you can just ramp? Your still dealing damage either way.

Now what do we tap? Walls make for some good defenders but tapping them makes them bad defenders of course. How about tokens? hits the field early and continually pumps out 0/1 Plants from that turn on for us to tap and ping their life down with. The main engine here for this deck's creature count.

What really puts this idea over the top is the combination of Anointed Processions and Second Harvest. The key here is having multiple Anointed Processions in play. Non-Legendary so they stack the doubling effects for when a token enters from Nissa. Now consider playing a Second Harvest which then doubles every token you have in play already. Can you do the math?

1 0/1 Plant, 2 Plant, 3 Plant, 4 Plant... keep counting! Before you know it you'll have enough 0/1 Plants to tap with Cryptolith Rite for mana and then ping their life with Throne of the God-Pharaoh.

Only those who bow down (tap) before the God-Pharaoh shall earn eternal afterlife...

And lastly, protecting your plan. Heroic Intervention is important protection giving key pieces Hexproof. The last thing you want to happen is to lose all your creatures, enchantment, or artifact that you need to make this fringe combo deck work. ( Hapatra's Mark is also a option to do this.)

The more creatures you have the more mana you have. All these tokens can then tap for a massive X cost bringing New Nissa into play with like dozens of Loyalty counters on it.

Non-Token Creatures:

I flirted around with the idea of a Creature-less build but thought throwing in some tough defenders aka Walls was a better idea. These cheap creatures hold down the fort and help protect that life total until you get the engines that be working and take over.

We need some suggestions on mana dumps however as pointless ramping is pointless. So please leave a comment.

Anything with a X cost will do but other cards with just a large CMC might be worth considering as well. Sandwurm Convergence comes to mind as well as Desolation Twin, Void Winnower, and Lashweed Lurker or any of the Eldrazi you prefer.

I personally like to splash , which isn't hard to do at all with Cryptolith Rite. From there we can play some powerful cards but mainly Nissa, Steward of Elements , Pull from Tomorrow , and Open Into Wonder .

Cut / Ribbons for the Ribbons might be the spell this deck is looking for to end any game.

Sideboard:

The Avacyn Displacer ( Archangel Avacyn   + Eldrazi Displacer ) is a niche little combo. It's basically a boardwipe that protects your shit. Like every double-faced card, if Avacyn gets blinked while being Avacyn, the Purifier  , it will re-enter the battlefield with its front face Archangel Avacyn  . This is an interesting interaction when the red face triggered ability is on the stack. We can respond to the ability by blinking the archangel, (with Eldrazi Displacer), and letting the ability trigger when it enters the battlefield. While re-entering the battlefield it then passes out indestructible to our creatures giving us protection from the resolving red face ability that then deal 3 damage to each other creature and each opponent. You still need a trigger to flip it to the "red face" angel in the first place but sacrifice outlets are not hard to find and simply blocking and dying with a 0/1 plant would suffice.

Weaver of Currents pairs well with Eldrazi Displacer if you look to exploit flickering ETB effects.

You could also use Vehicles to tap creatures but I prefer mana dumps. You can always just tap them for mana and never spend it.
