Awesome suggestions Tunman I will take a look at what I could take out to include some of them this week sometime. Of course if you got any ideas on that I'm all ears. :)

Wouldn't Dusk / Dawn kill Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet though? Yes, your potentially board wiping their side and for each creature killed your getting a 2/2 Zombie token in exchange for losing Kalitas but I guess they would have to have a lot of creatures in play that are 3/X or better for me to want to even swap Kalitas for the Zombies.

If you got a heavy creature build and still focus on ramping creatures maybe consider Cryptolith Rite instead? It allows you to play the creatures you want to but still tap them to ramp and it has built in mana fixing so like Adamram1985 suggested you can splash other colors for cards like Open Into Wonder or better ETB effects on creatures even. Could even play Always Watching then which works perfect with Exert.

Cut / Ribbons for Ribbons perhaps?
Cryptolith Rite lets you tap tokens/creatures for any colored mana which is how we cast the Cut version with red mana to get it into graveyard then also allows you to tap tokens/creatures for the black mana as well as a massive X cost to one shot them.

This is similar to a deck i built before Amonkhet's release.
I haven't yet attempted to remake it with all the Zombie love in Amonkhet though I have made a few Zombie themed decks.
Personally my favorite it the latter of the two because it's all about Tokens.

Shameless plug of my Standard Zombie Decks:

In reply to your comment on my Standard Zombie Tokens | Amonkhet deck,
I only play online. Either Tabletop Simulator (for free) or on MTGO. I don't really get to go out to any FNM or prelease events actually because of working in entertainment business I don't ever get weekends off.
If I decide to buy some Amonkhet cards on MTGO though and play my tokens deck I will let you know.

Is there a burn spell in Standard that basically reads XR deal X damage to target player. That would be perfect for this deck as a one-of mana dump.

I do have Cryptbreaker in the maybe listings but I don't know about him. I prefer a free discard outlet, even a non-zombie one at that, to one that costs 1B just to activate. I understand that cost is payed for the 2/2 Zombie token you get but when I'm discarding and playing for Madness From Under the Floorboards i want to conserve the two mana for the X cost and not spend it on getting another token from Cryptbreaker.
I do like that it's a Zombie creature and cheap CMC so it comes out to play early.
I love that in this deck 3 Zombies is a drawn card. The life loss from that would balance out with the life gained from other card effects.
I also how it requires you to tap it because that is another way besides Cryptolith Rite to tap creatures without attacking to trigger burn damage from Throne of the God-Pharaoh.
I might look to include it but what would you take out?

+1'd just because I wanted to see someone's take on a minotaurs tribal build in Amonkhet. I will be attempting one of my own soon when I get around to brewing Minotaurs.

As for the other suggestion and vs flying we got Dark Salvation which takes down anything in standard. Best removal answer. Olivia's Dragoon can also chip in as a blocker if need be. I wish it was a Zombie as well though because then we could use Time to Reflect to exile them. Is there any good Zombie's with flying? Might replace Relentless Dead if so. Even though he's good for bringing something back to hand that got removed. TBH, I'm not too worried about flying. This isn't going to be a Tier 1 deck by any means so outracing them is about the only way to beat a purely flying matchup. I bet I can get more Zombies out quicker and ping them down.

Actually every creature in play is a green mana thanks to Cryptolith Rite and yeah I gotta put something in to get it on the board. I forgot about that.

I'm loving all the different takes on standard Zombies. I love how you incorporated Madness and discard-benefits in here. Curious as to what you think of my build though. Something they do have in common "make a lot of tokens and buff them."

Updated the deck description (formatting) looks a lot nicer now :)

Pay 5: Sacrifce five Snake/Insect creatures.
However you do it, a few tokens and one casted creature you're almost always trading up for a better board state with a 9/7 that's Indestructible and better than any Amonkhet God.

And Throne of the God-Pharaoh certainly fits if you plan on being aggressive with those Deathtouchers and attacking. You tap them, force them to trade with you, or let damage through. Either way they get pinged for damage if they stay tapped.

Festering Mummy pairs well with Plague Belcher in this type of deck.

What about the new Liliana? Comes in with 5 loyalty needs just two +1's to kill everything they control (unless it's a mirror match vs Zombies). Plus it'll help with that "be able to play ZAMBIES every turn." The only thing it's 5CMC is not exactly aggro but at the top of your curve maybe include it?
April 18, 2017 10:15 a.m.
I like it. I do think BW Zombies Aggro is going to be heavily played in this standard.

My take on Standard Zombies.
Have you put any thought into Dark Salvation especially against the new Gods. The -1/-1 counter removal still takes down Indestructibles. Plus it'll be easy for you to cast this for B (X=0) and take anything down since you deck is all Zombie'd out.
