I feel that Black Sun's Zenith , while one of my favorite sweepers is just negative value in Marchesa, the Black Rose . Though I love the Phyrexian theme here. Do you not like Sheoldred, Whispering One in the deck?

Have you considered Fling and similar cards that let your creatures deal damage directly to your opponent? Would be a nice finishing blow imo.

I tried to look up similar cards myself, however I did not find many.

Electropotence seems to fit here. You can spend spare mana when you play a creature for more poison counters.

Also Warstorm Surge and maybe Pandemonium . Pandemonium might be too risky though.

Fallen Ferromancer is awesome. You can have two of him if you add Viridian Longbow .

Also Surestrike Trident would be good if cannot get the damage accross via combat.

Great use of a new Legend! We don't play much EDH; but LOVE to see the amazing decks and synergies people come up with. This is no exception. +1 for sure.

Fallen Ideal is a cool way to hurl your infection at someone. I'd swap out Phyresis for it, because most of your guys already have infect. Alternatively, I think the surprise of infect via Tainted Strike would be useful, as a combat trick has more value to one of your non-infects (regular damage might not be blocked)

Mikaeus, the Unhallowed would work wonders in your build. Great synergy with your commander.

What about Curse of Stalked Prey and a Thrummingbird ? Curse would make your buddies bigger and Thrummingbird .. Well, proliferate is a good ability. Just thoughts.

not sure what to take out for it. might drop a land but i feel like 38 is getting low as it is.

What about taking out Browbeat ? I love the card, but it's been more or less a dead card in most every EDH deck I've run, simply because players start with higher life totals and someone is usually willing to give up 5. In addition, since you're trying to win through infect, opposing players' life totals will tend to be higher anyways (making them more likely to be willing to pay the cost).

Is it just me or is Marchesa like an awesome combo with undying? It's like "So, if it doesn't have a +1/+1 counter on it, it comes back, and if it has a +1/+1 counter, it also comes back." So no killing stuff, ever, except for exile.

Hah yea totally. When I was first prototyping this I looked at Unleashed and Undying effects. Definitely pairs nicely :D I went with infect just for shits though and it's been damn fun. I've gotten turn 3 kills in 1v1 with this. Great fun (for me).
