This deck is part of a US$10.00 budget format. This budget encompasses the mainboard and the sideboard (everything but traditional basic lands), so it makes for a very interesting deckbuilding challenge.

We're back with Reanimator! The biggest problem with brewing this budget deck was finding good reanimation targets within budget. Cube reanimation classic Terastodon was a good pick, but is significantly worse when there aren't P'walkers for it to blow up. Abhorrent Overlord was another pick with inspiration from MTGO's Legacy Cube, and it does a great job of putting games away, and getting bonus activations of Stinkweed Imp's dredge if necessary. But how do we counterract the life loss from Life/Death without a pal like Griselbrand? That's where allstar Chancellor of the Dross comes in!

Turn 2 reanimator is still amazingly possible in this deck with the awesome Hapless Researcher into Life/Death . Turns out that a 12 point life swing is hard to beat on turn 3! The best part is that the whole deck operates on 3 mana or less.
