For the love of Princess Ruto! I love the merfolk tribe in Ixalan and had to make a standard deck for the coming rotation. I think they will be underrated compared to what most people are saying and I hope they get more support in rivals.

I've never really constructed a tempo type build or any heavy creature based strategies so please lemme know what you think all help is super appreciated

Another 2-1 I really like the build the games almost always come down to the wire

0-2 G/B constrictor I actually didn't think I'd mind this match up if I had more tempo cards at my disposal like unsummon but fatal push is really strong against my deck and cheap removal is hard to play around with the shaper's sanctuaries out

2-0 against sultai energy the deck curved out perfectly each game and I had the perilous voyage each time I needed it can't really say much else

2-1 against grixis control. good games lots of math dropped a gearhulk while their shields were down in the 3rd game and gave a river sneak the four counters and got in for lethal

2nd place at 10/6 FNM 2-1 — Oct. 12, 2017
