This deck is a variant of the Neobrand Combo, and exploits the Azorious-printed ({U}{W}) Absolute Virtue.

Our intent is to reinforce the combo with protection and more hurdles for our opponents to jump through.

...because this deck is a fork, I'll leave the former description from the deck this one was drived from; Neobrand-Ghalta.

Concept

Neoform Combo

The intention is to follow events like so:

• Begin your game by revealing Chancellor of the Tangle from your hand, and playing a land that will net you {U} mana.

• Exile the Chancellor and one other Green card in order to cast Allosaurus Rider for free.

• Use the subsequently generated mana to cast Neoform targeting the Rider in order to fetch Griselbrand.

• Use Nourishing Shoal to exile stuff and net life back in order to rinse repeat the ability Griselbrand affords you.

Variants

Dependent on how one chooses to play, I've seen a variety of card choices, some now outdated.

• For example, Simian Spirit Guide at one point was a cast member. I believe this is because you would use the mana alongside the Chancellor in order to generate {R}{G}, and then cast Manamorphose into the Neoform chain.

• Most of the build variance comes from personal choices for your deck count, I.e.; counterspells, creature preference, etc.

• A lot of the One-Of inclusions I see for a list like this have things that counteract against other concepts; things like Endurance to prevent being milled out at instant speed, and Laboratory Maniac for the "oops" where you accidentally draw over your library.

• I could imagine a spot for Birgi, God of Storytelling   if you were so inclined to stick with the Manamorphose angle, but that seems very Tier 2, even for this kind of a deck.

• I think this concept is best described as a Combo deck at best, and unfortunately a Glass Cannon at worst.

Theme

• This deck was formerly focused on dinosaurs but now helms Absolute Virtue as a manner of keeping all nonsensical activities from your opponents in check.

• there's truly very little to explore in this description because the card just.. kinda speaks for itself. Your opponents can't target you until they deal with the big dumb, nasty Azorius fart-waver whose preventing all of their spells. Burn decks? Done. Sacrifice focus? Nope.

• Maybe instead of focusing on the mechanical nature of this variant, and why the card is so oppressive, we'll focus instead on the Counterpart from in-game engagements.

Construction

In order to have this deck function as it should, we need the core pieces of the combo:

• Neoform which fetches the draw engine, Griselbrand.

• Allosaurus Rider an expensive body that we "cheat" into play, and provides fuel to the combo primer spell, Neoform.

• Chancellor of the Tangle is a turn zero effect that provides ramp for the combo primer, Neoform.

• Griselbrand functions as a draw engine.

Aside from the aforementioned staples of the deck, I'll be detailing other slots of the list to explain how I intend to pilot the build.

• Force of Negation is a means to hold up protection and one of the core reasons the mana base if this build is Simic ({U}{G}) colored.

• Stubborn Denial is picked over Spell Pierce because once the boys hit the field you hold up a free counter for one {U} mana.

• Autochthon Wurm is a marvelous creature from long ago with absolutely no use to us but to provide fuel for two Grisel-draws off of a Nourishing Shoal.

• Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger is my mandatory Titan spot, so my favorite Titan fills the roster pick. This would also be a good spot for Xenagos, God of Revels.

• Nourishing Shoal is our draw facilitator because it provides us a chance to resolve more Grisel-draw triggers.

• Eldritch Evolution functions as another copy of Neoform, as combo redundancy makes for a more consistent build and protects against things like Surgical Extraction.
