Have been doing top 8's consistently with this deck at my LGS, obviously is tuned for my local metagame, but the deck has strong matchups on most popular decks (UB control, Abzan aggro/midrange, Jeskai aggro, RW aggro, GW devotion), mostly because it has a lot of different answers, to a lot of different things, runs strong planeswalkers that can win the game all by themselves when left uncheked, barely suffers from boardwipes of the sort, and has a lot marginal both post, and pre sideboard removal (though [Banishing Light] can be easily dealwith post SB, but thats why we side a couple of them for game 2)
One of the big wincons of the deck is an unchecked [Purphoros, God of the Forge], because he basically makes every topdeck wortwhile, turn 10 [Sylvan Caryatid] is still shitty, but atleast it applies SOME sort of pressure. Also it's incredibly strong with [Elspeth, Sun's Champion], since it puts the opponent on a very tight clock. Another card that shines with Purphoros is [Wishperwood Elemental]. I cant stress it enough how insanely strong this "combo" is. You could have a Purph, Elemental, couple Caryatids and a Stormbreath down, sac the elemental, cast End Hostilities, manifest 3 times, and deal 6 damage, on top of manifesting 3 creatures, and swinging with your Stormbreath and Elemental, AND clearing the opponents board.
[Genesis Hydra] follows the same principles, you ramp a lot with Caryatids and [Xenagos, The Reveler], cast a hydra for 14, pop an [Ugin, the spirit dragon] or well, just about anything you need, the card is great cause its pseudo-carddraw, and it practically works as a tutor for walkers, or creatures.
