Bog standard MBC Deck inspired from various youtubers and top8 decks. Not very exciting tbhThis description/decklist really is more for personal learning

Key utility cards:

• Unearth triggers many Enter-The-Battlefield effects so I'm playing 4 of them
• Okiba-Gang Shinobi lets us get a lot of value out of Enter-The-Battlefield, also fuels Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Okiba-Gang Shinobi through Ninjutsu in turn 4 into a turn 5 Gray Merchant of Asphodel may pose a devastating play against speedy opponents giving you lots of allowance.
• Grim Harvest Instant speed, may be played EOT. Able to target our payoff card Gray Merchant of Asphodel. 1 is enough because of Recover.

Card Draw:

• Phyrexian Rager lets us draw a card and put another body on the field. Synergizes with our utility cards
• Sign in Blood Lack of good 2 drops makes this an excellent card to speed our game up and make some value plays down the road and work towards later board control.

Hand Control:

• Duress and Ostracize Potentially looking at your opponents' hand turn 1 is IMO very strong, enables you to plan ahead and make the most out of your cards. Synergizes well with Chittering Rats .
• Chittering Rats makes the enemy skip effectively skip a draw step, punishes bad starting hands, mulligans, mana screw/floods. Great on its own, absolutely crippling in conjunction with other cards. 2 toughness and fueling devotion by 2 also is very good. Synergizes very well with utility cards. Can be used to lock out an opponent.
• Liliana's Specter Decent flyer that makes our opponent discard a card when it enters the battlefield. Flying syngergizes with Okiba-Gang Shinobi, may be targeted using utility cards in a pinch but doesn't go well with Cuombajj Witches because of it's 1 toughness. Fuels Devotion by 2.

Removal:

• Cuombajj Witches Great body, ping effect, fuels Devotion by two. Great value, greater against weenies. Dies to Lightning Bolt but probably worth it just to slow faster decks down a bit.
• Tendrils of Corruption Instant speed Lifegain+Removal that gets better the longer the game gets but also very strong on turn 4. Strong in Mono Black.
• Geth's Verdict Strictly better than Diabolic Edict in Mono Black. Also cheaper financially.
• Disfigure great targeted instant speed removal in very early game. Good against turn 1 Kird Ape or Wild Nacatl or potential Burning-Tree Emissary + Horned Kavu tempo plays before they snowball.
• Victim of Night Like Terror but better in 95% of situations

Wincon/Payoff:

• Gray Merchant of Asphodel should explain itself.
• Corrupt like Grim Harvest another long-haul card. Probably want to side out both against faster decks.
