The idea here is to get out Monastery Swiftspear on turn 1, then start slapping it with 1-drop boost spells and pay life for more prowess triggers(Mutagenic Growth). The perfect example of this is on turn 2, play Assault Strobe, and Tainted Strike on Swiftspear... and then pay 4 life to cast 2 copies of Mutagenic Growth! That's 4 prowess triggers, +1 from Tainted Strike, +4 from the M Growths = 10 power + double strike = 20 poison counters... Even without infect, that's a kill shot!!! (to be perfectly honest, the second mutagenic growth is overkill really...) Another possibility is if your opponent unwisely chooses not to make you sacrifice your Vexing Devil, you can on turn 2 hit him with Assault Strobe and Tainted Strike... = 10 poison counters.... game over.
