"I am confident that if anyone actually penetrates our facades, even the most perceptive would still be fundamentally unprepared for the truth of House Dimir."

Szadek

"I fear that as we scurry after phantoms, the Dimir pull nine puppet strings."

Ral Zarek

"I hear that Boros is losing its angels to the Gateless Movement. I'm sure this comes as no surprise to you."

Teysa, to Lazav

So I wanted to make a Dimir milling deck that was fun to play while still being at least somewhat competitive in modern and this is what I came up with. There are a couple of main combos in the deck. The first one is the Invisible Stalker + Paranoid Delusions combo. This combo is in the deck as Invisible Stalker is unblockable which is needed to consistently get the Paranoid Delusions to go off. Also he has Hexproof which helps to make sure the combo sticks around. The second combo is Invisible Stalker + Whispering Madness and it follows the same logic as the first except that when used properly it can also refill my hand. Sometimes it may even give me more cards in my hand than I had in the hand that was discarded. The third combo is Glimpse the Unthinkable + Snapcaster Mage . It can also be combined with Mind Funeral to great effect. These combos allow me to cast a second copy of my all to important mill cards in a single turn to devastate the opponent. The forth and final important combo in the deck is Consuming Aberration + any / card. His effect is too good not to put in a mill deck and it has the nice bonus of usually being a huge creature when he enters the field. Other important cards in the deck include: Jace, Memory Adept for his awesome +1 ability that allows you to draw and mill your opponent for two and his even better 0 ability that is essentally a Glimpse the Unthinkable. Jace's Phantasm since he is essentially a 5/5 evasion creature. Go for the Throat, Hero's Downfall and Psychic Strike for control of the game. And Thought Scour and Balustrade Spy for more milling options. Thought Scour gives draw power which is also nice.

Thanks for looking at the deck and I welcome any suggestions you may have for me. Have a great day.
