Hapatra Counters Deck (Standard MTG Deck)

I was drawn to the idea of a -1/-1 counter and token deck when the set first released, and I have been tinkering with it for a while now. The deck revolves around landing a Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and/or Nest of Scarabs and then playing other cards that place -1/-1 counters on your creatures or on other creatures. Nest of Scarabs can get pretty out of control especially if you can resolve more than one in a game, as it adds tokens for each counter you place on any creature. Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons is less prolific, but her snakes have deathtouch, which is usually pretty good at holding back attackers.

I am not sure what the right creatures are to play in the deck though. I keep moving things in and out of the Maybeboard to try and get it just right, and don't think I'm quite there yet. I like the lifelink from the Cartouche of Ambition but I don't like getting 2-for-1'ed when the creature dies. I also like the lifelink on Baleful Ammit , but it only brings in one counter, which means there is only one Insect token generated by the nest.

I think the sideboard is pretty self-explanatory. Scarab Feast is there for Zombies and other graveyard based strategies, and also brings in an additional cycler for Archfiend of Ifnir. Dispossess and Manglehorn against artifacts; Prowling Serpopard and Transgress the Mind against control. Transgress also trips up most other midrange strategies you might see. I have been thinking I might swap it for Lost Legacy but I'm not sold on the idea - at least until the next rotation.

I welcome any feedback from any other people trying to make this deck work. I know it's here somewhere...
