A deck based entirely around gates. The mana is a bit slow to start out, but the deck quickly gets going if you can get past turn 3 or 4. All the lands except a few are gates, and so cards like Crackling Perimeter and Hold the Gates become extremely powerful just a few turns into the game. Rites of Flourishing and Abundance, as well as bouncing Gatecreeper Vines with Disperse should help ramp the hell out of my mana, while Disperse will be a great help in countering any mounting threats the opponent may have. This deck also features Gateway Shade, which when paired with Primal Rage or Levitation should be a difficult force to react to. 5-color creatures like Chromanticore and Fusion Elemental are just thrown in there because they're undeniably powerful for being so cheap, and can usually help me win on their own. I like to throw Prophet of Kruphix into any deck that has the colors for it, but this deck benefits especially well when it's combined with Crackling Perimeter. I noticed that I had a lot of enchantments in this deck so I threw in a few Sphere of Safety as well. If the game is going pretty slow, or I've drawn an excellent lineup of gates, Maze's End can get me an assured victory as well.

I'm trying to incorporate some good lifegain into this deck as well. I was thinking Oracle of Nectars but it just seems like such a waste to use each gate to gain a health point when I could be using it to damage somebody's life directly or buffing Gateway Shade like there's no tomorrow.

Let me know if you know of any cards that would synergize well with this deck.

Thanks!
