Mono-black midrangey control deck. Remove early threats with the suite of removal spells in Devour Flesh, Doom Blade, Tragic Slip, and Murder.

This deck uses 4 Sign in Blood to keep your hand full, and will be especially important in any control match-up.

Use Encroaching Wastes to get rid of Kessig Wolf Run or Moorland Haunt.

If things get too hairy, wipe the board with a well timed Mutilate. Your Haunted Plate Mail, Mutavault, and probably Desecration Demon will survive.

Thinking about adding a 4th Liliana of the Veil, even this close to rotation since I can use her in other formats.

Big black enchantments Demonic Rising and Homicidal Seclusion synergize with Haunted Plate Mail and mutavaults.

Any creature loaded up with Haunted Plate Mail makes a decent target for Disciple of Bolas. Alternately, Desecration Demon is a great target too after a post attack tap bait.

A singleton Corrupt is there for the possible end of game winner or as a really really fat Warleader's Helix. I'm not completely sold on this, it's more for flavor and I usually end up side-boarding it out.
