I used to run an arcum EDH deck. I have since taken the deck apart because I got sorta bored of it. But I was considering Arcums potential in modern, as Ive been dipping my feet into the format. He seems slow and really open to remove (just as he is in EDH), so dispel to protect him from path and some mana leaks for control while combo is set up. serum visions, opt, and search for setting up the combo.

The main combo is essentially a scaled down version of the EDH combo that powers competitive arcum decks getting arcum out, toutoring for paradox engine, then For the flute, lattice, and ironworks. Hopefully at this point you have at least one mic opal out, creat a bunch of mana, tap out your lands if you have any up, sac all your artifacts to the ironworks, and then Drop a huge walking ballista for the win.

This is my first attempt at a modern deck list so all criticism, pointers, etc is welcome! Give the deck a test see what its missing
