Naya Cats!
This deck can come out quickly, but has some staying power as games drag on. A very straight-forward deck.
Sideboard is by no means set, I will adjust it as I play this deck more.
~The Creatures~
Loam Lion: 1/1 for 1, if the first land you play is a "Forest Plains" Loam Lion can be a 2/3 for 1 on T1.
Wild Nacatl: Another 1/1 for 1, this can be swinging for 3 as early as T2.
Qasali Pridemage: Utility slot - mainboard artifact and enchantment hate, Exalted means I can attack with one creature and leave blockers up if I have to. Might replace with Fleecemane Lion and bump QPM to the SB.
Brimaz, King of Oreskos: 4 toughness for 3 mana puts him outside 'bolt range. Generates tokens which add extra damage, and when a King of the Pride or two is out these tokens can become stone cold killers - plus they aren't exiled at the end of combat so if your opponent doesn't kill them they will stick around.
King of the Pride: Brings the pain
Mirri, Cat Warrior: First Strike, Vigilance, and Forestwalk for a decent price attached to a tribe-relevant body.
Pride Sovereign: The finisher, coming in to clean house. Generates tokens in a pinch at the expense of being Exerted.
~Planeswalker Buds~
Domri, Anarch of Bolas: I love this card for aggressive creature decks. Strong passive, +1 helps get creatures onto the board through counters, -2 is basically Prey Upon on a stick, and the cost is cheap.
Ajani, the Greathearted: Another strong passive, the +1 is huge in a deck whose manabase can be painful, and the -2 is nice to have in the toolkit. (Also fits the deck flavour-wise)
~The Other Spells~
Lightning Bolt and Lightning Helix to burn through creatures or life, with Lightning Helix bringing some much-needed lifegain to a deck with a painful mana base.
Path to Exile: Needs no explanation.
Atarka's Command: One of my favourite spells - decent versatility for GR that synergizes well with aggressive strategies
Collected Company: Every creature in this deck can be put onto the battlefield with CoCo, beefs up your board out of nowhere.
