Pretty early in the stages of this deck and would love help or suggestions!

Meant to be close to death at all times, this deck incorporates Death's Shadow (of course) but also some other key cards to add a twist the goal of the deck to just getting it Death's Shadow out.

Most of my modern decks are dedicated to Immolating Souleater. It's such an underrated card in terms of its speed and because of that, it goes under the radar so easily especially game 1. I know it's not the best being CMC of 2 and a 1/1 body, but at least give it a chance :).

Immolating Souleater and Moltensteel Dragon are pretty much the same with different bodies. With the life total at 20, they can swing for lethal early with Tainted Strike for a turn 3 win, but are also able to swing for a ton with Children of Korlis out or just by using life.

Children of Korlis also serves multiple purposes to allow the use of Immolating Souleater, "cheats" out Avatar of Hope, activates Gather the Townsfolk's Fateful Hour with few drawbacks and allows Plunge into Darkness and Death's Shadow plays to be made safer, serving as a back-up to removal.

The relatively new addition of Font of Agonies serves as removal when a large amount of life is lost which happens almost every game. And as an early one drop, it's an easy ad.

I've decided to take a risk and drop the slightly aggro/midrange gameplay and go full aggro after the sideboard. Drop all of the white cards and add in Lightning Bolt, Temur Battle Rage and Assault Strobe for going all in to the Immolating Souleater turn 2 win. Not sure if it would be better as doing this strat in game one and switching game 2 to the current deck but let me know.

I've made decks similar to this with the whole life loss game play, but this one adds the same playstyle while still being competitive. It still is very risky but offers many options as life starts to dwindle.

Example of pretty common turn 3 win:

T1: Swamp

T2: Any land, play Immolating Souleater

T3: Swing with Immolating Souleater, play Tainted Strike on it and pay 18 life to swing for lethal

Example of T2 win post sideboard

T1: Swamp, Simian Spirit Guide into Immolating Souleater

T2: Mountain, swing with Immolating Souleater add Tainted Strike or Temur Battle Rage

Updates Add

I've tried making variations of this deck with black and white, but nothing is as aggro or reckless as my original and I'm bringing the og back. I've changed a little bit by adding Master of Cruelties for a cruel combo with Generator Servant. I've noticed the price rose quite dramatically due to Blackcleave Cliffs but since I already own it I can still call it budget. Plus if anyone wants to replicate, you can easily make it basic lands or mono-colored. But I want more feedback. Tell me what you think about the new cards over the past year and give me some more suggestions!
