This is the Week 2 iteration of my "build a deck from scratch" project for T1T. I played 3 matches (1-2). Here are some highlights:

• MVP: tie Blood Artist and Bloodsoaked Champion. Mid/late game you can recur Champion off of his own Raid trigger and re-sacrifice him all at instant speed for some really big life swings before combat even starts. He has great synergy with Falkenrath Aristocrat as well because he is a Human.

• LVP: Rally the Ancestors: Any time I was in a position to cast this, I was already winning so I had mana to spare. This deck needs to establish a board presence then slam a beater and start sac'ing. These slots are better spent on cards that directly advance the plan. Optimally cast for 4 CMC it is a win-more at best and not enough to hold a place the rest of the time.
