RufusTheGrufus — Commander being a subjective format, we naturally approach the game differently. As such, you have inclusions I wouldn't prioritize, and likely vise versa if I were to construct this thing. It's always tedious to suggest cuts, but I can offer suggestions with that in mind.
My general philosophy in commander deck-building is that every card must do something individually significant without relying on other pieces, including the commander, to be relevant.
Following that line of thought, Ajani's Chosen is a rather small body that can swarm the board, but four mana is a lot to invest in something that doesn't want to attack or block. Archon of Sun's Grace is a far stronger stat line, but is excluded through personal preference.
Funnily enough, pretty much everything in the "Finishers" category is outside my playstyle as well. Particuluarly Bastion of Remembrance, Mirkwood Bats, and Grim Guardian seem to need a lot to get going. However, I know you want the deck to have a power cap.
The anthems are interesting, however plain unblockability to end the game might just be better. I'd only include it because I think the card is neat; it's probably not optimal either way.
For some other stray shots: Mindwrack Harpy is a little low power and Palantir of Orthanc isn't an enchantment, but you seem to like that one a fair amount. Definitely play what you like.
I don't know of this helps. Either way, I implore you to take these with grains of salt.

Rhadamanthus Thanks. I was leaning that way. What didn't click into my head immediately, but just now did as I read the card a day later is, "if it was a creature" being code for "if you didn't do this already". That's what really sends it home for me.

I would love to slot back in Familiar Ground, Idoneity, it's just hard to find room! You're right, it has such a cool niche with Anikthea, Hand of Erebos's abilities; it's just also nowhere near as good if she's not also on the battlefield.
If I were to re-add Familiar Ground, do you have any suggestions for cuts? Overlord of the Balemurk and Ripples of Undeath had fairly easy options to swap with, but I'm less sure with Familiar Ground.
The only two that start to come to my mind are Flowering of the White Tree and Boon of the Spirit Realm. But I think I'm more partial to both of those cards, because they have a solid floor and they also have the potential to scale pretty crazily if I can make multiple token copies of them; whereas Familiar Ground does not, and doesn't synergize with as many other parts of the deck. That being said, this is just where my current build for this commander has shaken out and I think there's a lot of wiggle room to build with different cards for Anikthea; and Familiar Ground is definitely a solid include whenever she's the commander!

Eldrazi Temple - Ramp
Hall of the Bandit Lord - Haste, great for commander and eldrazi
Emergence Zone/Winding Canyons - Flash, I notice you already have 2x flash sources as a creature, these lands can be useful, especially canyon (on RL list as well).
Miren, the Moaning Well/High Market - Sac outlet to prevent exile + theft, can also sac shuffle eldrazi in response to grave hate + lifegain. I like well more because of the lifegain, especially if you had hall of the bandit lord, this can mitigate it.
Glad you enjoyed the suggestions. You could probably cut 1-2 lands relatively easily, especially if you replaced it with draw so it could help you get more lands. That way, it can also mitigate mana flooding in the late game. Here are some more cuts...
Glasses of Urza - Not really needed too much, nice to have but nothing crazy.
Lich's Mirror - High CMC, telegraphed and you have no way to consistently abuse it
Roaming Throne - You have a decent amount of eldrazi, but because this is not a tribal deck and you have redundancy in the form of strionic resonator and lithiform engine, this is not needed.
Strip Mine > Ark of Blight
Clown Car - I don't see its purpose here, perhaps I'm missing something (commenting late at night).
Skittering Invasion - High CMC, bad ramp/blockers.
Spectrum Sentinel - Protection on a weak creature and minimal lifegain? Perhaps a meta call?
If you do end up adding more of the lands I just mentioned, then you might want to cut extraplanar lens. Lens, while potentially very powerful, can very easily be a 2 for 1. Moreover, a colorless deck's mana base is very powerful given all of the utility. I find it is usually best to have a few (10 or less) basics and lean on the utility rather than for the potential of ramping. This of course depends on how much removal the meta has, your past experiences with it (+ with the new potential changes in the deck). I know it is probably a hard cut, but definitely worth noting.
On the flip side, you do run winter moon so I presume that there is a lot of non basic lands in the meta (hence spectrum sentinel) and your commander? Winter moon would hurt you more with the more non-basics you add. It's your only "stax" card. I would say if you're going to go stax, go more into it or disregard it. I believe removing it would be best. If you still want the stax route, Winter Orb, Static Orb or even Storage Matrix can all be useful - even more so with blinkmoth well!
Alternatively, Cursed Totem is only anti-synergistic with 5 creatures of yours (can be swapped out for artifact ramp should you wish to go the cursed totem route - meta dependent).
Be sure to let me know your thoughts/thought process.

Defender
: Until end of turn, Wall of Slime may attack as though it doesn't have defender. When it deals combat damage to an opponent, you may instead destroy target artifact or enchantment they control.

Have you considered Font of Agonies? This will give you a way to benefit from paying life beyond just casting spells.
With so many spells with Graveyard interaction your strategy is vulnerable to graveyard hate. Can't do much about Bojuka Bog or Calamity's Wake, but Leyline of the Void and Rest in Peace can be taken out with Revoke Existence.
Also, I would recommend Taborax, Hope's Demise. With all the Clerics you are looking to sacrifice this could just as easily fill your hand and get you enough +1/+1 counters to allow the Lifelink to recover the lifeloss. In fact, I would recommend steadily replacing your non-Demon creatures with other Demons. This includes, but is not limited to, Blade of the Oni, Dream Devourer and Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire.
One other card you may want to consider is Mirror Entity. Not only will it count as a Demon for Liliana's Contract, but if someone hits your Shadowborn Apostles with a damage or -1/-1 boardwipe it's activated ability can save it.
I hope this helps, thank you for reading me out. Happy Hunting.

I am not going to look at your deck for two reasons (1) I don't know how it runs in actual game play and (2) I want to leave the redundancies up to you since those are usually good to have.
My suggestion when I find I have too many cards like this is to remove cards that are "win more." You need the combo pieces, the ramp, etc., but if the card is "nice to have" or "will do so much if x, y and z happen" are cards to remove.
If it (a) doesn't let you win or (b) requires a board state where you are already in a position to win, it can be removed.
Additionally, if you load up a deck with a ton of combos, you could thin out the ability to pull them off. It could, maybe, also help if, hypothetically, you have 5 combos to reduce it to 3 and you will see that it opens up ways to ensure pulling off those 3 combo more often. Just a thought.

RufusTheGrufus - I always love thorough reviews. Greatly appreciated!
I'll admit for Spelunking, I'm typically more meticulous when suggesting a card. It was one of the few that doesn't appear on you're maybeboard, so I thought I'd leastwise bring it up.
As for the Overlord of the Balemurk, it's just fantastic. But you're right that whenever I cast it for its impending cost, I give up on it ever being relevant past that point. I include it because it's a self-milling cantrip that is both a creature and enchantment in other zones, giving it more value. It just happens to synergize with a lot.
One last point: Familiar Ground is a very cool consideration. Never heard of the card. I tend away from alpha strike inclusions as well, but it also just lets your commander attack with impunity. You should put it back in. It's old, niche, and sweet.

I'm a little confused. I recently built a Toph the first metalbender deck and wanted to search other decks with the same commander to see what other people had done, but upon doing so I realized my deck wasn't showing up on the list. It's a legal deck and the prototype setting is turned off. The settings are the same as my other decks that do appear. Does anyone know what's going on with it?

Idoneity, hi, thank you! I appreciate your suggestions and that you checked out the list!
Ripples of Undeath is great! It’s been in most of the different builds of Anikthea that I’ve tinkered with and is arguably just better Cemetery Tampering; I’ve wanted to slot it back into this list for a bit now. I think my main card advantage flex spots that I’d consider swapping would be: Palantir of Orthanc (even though I love this card), Commune with the Gods (flavor win), and Grisly Salvage (instant speed goodness). But, these cards are all in this list over Ripples of Undeath primarily because they offer card advantage immediately, rather than having to wait until the beginning of my next precombat mainphase... This deck’s gameplans are already inherently fragile and easily interacted with, so I wanted to reduce the number of plays that could end up just doing nothing; such as Ripples of Undeath getting blown up before I get any card advantage out of it (which had happened multiple times!). Interestingly enough, Cemetery Tampering has taken way less heat and oftentimes only gets removed when an enchantment-inclusive boardwipe gets used; so it ended up making the cut over Ripples of Undeath. That being said, I’m thinking it may just be time to swap out Cemetery Tampering for Ripples of Undeath because the flexibility of grabbing any non-enchantments milled is pretty invaluable for this deck.
Somehow I don’t think I’ve considered Overlord of the Balemurk for this build yet! It’s definitely an interesting option, but I do have some mixed feelings; primarily because I’m assuming that most of the time It’ll either be a reanimation target for Anikthea, or get cast for it’s Impending 5 cost which I’m not super jazzed about (because it takes forever to come online, only mills 4 once in the meantime, and recurs creatures to hand rather than the battlefield). Similar to Ripples of Undeath, my potential swap candidates would be listed above. I think I’m going to have to just rip off the bandaid and remove the flavor option in Commune with the Gods; at least for now because I think you’re on to something, and I want to playtest with Overlord of the Balemurk!
Spelunking is a fun option, I just don’t think it’s the right fit for this build of Anikthea though. Sure, it replaces itself when cast or nets a card if reanimated, but that’s kinda where it falls off for this build. I’m only running 6 lands that have to ETB tapped, so the last ability is not as helpful as it could be. To be fair, I’m able to play with whatever lands I want since my playgroup proxies, and I think Spelunking would feel much more synergistic and strong in a deck with more tapped lands (especially MDFC lands, which I’ve been lazy about finding space for). Any further synergy Spelunking has with the rest of the deck is solely based on the fact that it’s an enchantment, so I would primarily be looking critically at the main effect it provides (card advantage) relative to similar cards in my list for potential cards to swap it with; and ultimately I think I’d much rather swap in either Ripples of Undeath or Overlord of the Balemurk first!
Regardless, thank you again for your time and suggestions, I’m always happy to have new cards to mull over and consider for this deck!

Keruga is a solid companion option but I have learned that Helga really wants as many one drop mana dorks as possible, the difference between getting her out turn two and turn three makes a huge difference. All of my two drop ramp spells in this deck are officially on notice.

It starts out as both. Enduring Curiosity has both the Enchantment and Creature types printed on its type line, so it counts as both types everywhere unless some other effect specifically changes that. The reminder text of "(It's not a creature)" at the end of its last ability is there to clarify what happens when an effect sets an object to a certain type and doesn't say "in addition to its other types".

It seems to me that when the Mech dies, it would come back to the board, but just be its original self again.
I'm thinking that the copycat effect would happen and trigger the command to send it back to the board when it dies, but that the copycat effect would not accompany the Mech back to the battlefield, in the same way that counters do not come back with a creature.
Am I crazy?
vic on Are the Duskmourn Enduring Glimmers …

I know that Enduring Curiosity is only an enchantment and not a creature if it dies and then comes back. The text says so. But what about when you first play it? Is it only a creature then, or is it both? Basically, I want to know if I can Naturalize, etc. it at that time.
