Marit Lage

The goal of the deck is to get Marit Lage out as soon as possible. There are two bassic combos to the deck.

Dark Depths + Vampire Hexmage is the basic combo. Have Hexmage on the battlefield, sacrifice it to remove all the ice counters from Dark Depths and Behold! Our 20/20 Marit Lage at our command!

Dark Depths + Thespian's Stage is a bit more complicated. We need the Stage and the Dark Depths on the battlefield as well as two other mana sources. We have Thespian's Stage copy Dark Depths, we need to sacrifice Dark Depths due to the legendary rule. Thespian's Stage copies Dark Depths without the ice counters, so that ability triggers and now we have a 20/20 Marit Lage once again!

Both of these abilitys can be activated at instant speed, so its suggested to activate them at the end of your oppent's turn or in response to an opponent's spell to avoid loosing combo pieces.
