Frequent Commander player with a collection of 41 decks listed below, each with its own primer. My deckbuilding philosophy is pretty straightforward: "a fun deck is a deck that wins".
When building decks for EDH, I have three golden rules. I generally follow them for each of my lists.
1. Efficiency: Keep the deck's average mana value below 3 if possible. Use the most versatile and mana-effective cards to support its strategy.
2. Consistency: Design decks around reliably executing a handful of simple win conditions. Avoid "nice to have" cards or cards that don't meaningfully contribute to its game plan.
3. Versatility: Include answers for as many archetypes or game states as possible. Be able to execute our strategy in a range of different situations.
In line with those three golden rules, most (but not all) of my EDH lists are intended to be powered at the stronger side of casual, with the goal of being able to compete effectively in a variety of different pods. For example, about 50% of my decks have access to infinite combos or instant win conditions as a way of closing out long or stalled games (or for playing in pods of more than four players). All the lists you'll find here are classified as either Bracket 3 or Bracket 4 in WotC's new brackets system.
Some of the decks below may be limited to private viewing from time to time. That usually means they're being updated or the primers rewritten. I'll switch them back to public viewing as soon as they're finished.
