Built from NoSkillManiac's deck, Mentoring Aggression. Amazing deck, but with my own feel. All I really need left is stuff to put into the sideboard that works.

Went undefeated at my local FNM. This deck is good stuff.

I have my deck set up with 2 Sword of War and Peace and 2 Sword of Feast and Famine, replacing a Geist-Honored Monk, Mentor of the Meek, Mana Leak, and Acidic Slime. I also have it with 2 of each Beast Within, Mana Leak, and Oblivion Ring mainboard. Really makes situations nice and I have 2 of each in the sideboard as well. If it works I'll update the main deck.

i would drop both llanowar elves for 2 more pilgrims and drop garruk for elspeth since youll have so many tokens

22 lands, and 4 of them don't produced colored mana, in a deck where multiple things cost double of different colors. Ain't gonna fly, mate. Need to re-tweak it a bit. Llanowars can go for another land and O-Ring or Mana Leak. And possibly go down to 2x Geists, and a fourth Mirran crusader. Could even go 1 Sun Titan and 1 Prime Time, to help fish some lands out to keep everything flowing smoothly.

Took your advice Psymon, and kinked it. Play tested, and it's fun. Really fun. Also doesn't hurt that it wins a lot. I'm keeping in the Geist though because one of the points of this deck is to spit out Geist's with the ramp then copy them to have lots of strong creatures out.

+1 i have been toying around with a deck that is kind of similar to this in concept, except much more control based. however, i like this one a lot more. i may steal this template and add my own twist... i really want to use venser. here is my current deck: deck:the-brc. it seems to run fairly well. but again, i think this does a much better job.
