Synergy

This deck was made as a themed version of my more-perfect The Dauntless Host Modern deck, and hence contains all manner of tricks designed to get you out of tight spots while ruthlessly pushing forward to victory. The Raptor Hatchings and Huatli, Warrior Poet add a swarm-feature. The Kinjalli's Sunwings, Luminous Bonds, and Silent Gravestone add a prison/control-feature. Gleaming Barriers and the Everdawn Champions will defend you while Sky Terrors swoop down on your foes. Most creature are also able to work with Path of Mettle  . Imperial Ceratops grants a lifegain effect, as well.

Finally, and in concert with the above, this deck is designed to perform well with no more than 3 mana at your disposal; indeed, only five cards require more than three and, rest assured, this deck has taken down far larger prey than the low mana-curve suggests.
