I don't think it's worth it to use Knight of the Reliquary here. It would necessitate adding more (redundant) fetch lands to the manabase in order to make the knights strong enough. If you suspect I'm wrong, let me know. (Currently testing them)

Mercy Killing, on the other hand, might be worth adding into the sideboard as a 1-of. The lack of trample or any mass-removal can make chump blockers/tokens a problem to get through. Having the ability to both multiply your on-board power and go wide by turning, for example, a 6/6 Loxodon Smiter (w/ Wilt-Leaf Liege out) into SIX 3/3 elves could prove invaluable, especially with a Gavony Township in play. It's also used for removal of problem creatures and could be used on your own creature in response to a removal spell.
